Baby Isaac came in last week for his 6 month session.  He was so much
fun to photograph, definitely one of the happiest babies ever!  Anyway,
it was great to see him after doing his newborn session last summer. 
Boy has he grown!  We did the session at my studio.  Anyway, hope you

I couldn't decide if I liked this one better in color or black and white…. any thoughts?

I have know the Melillo family for a number of years.  I actually watched the two boys, Tommy and Michael, ever since Michael was a baby!  It was great to see them again and do a family portrait session.  Here are just a few from the session, isn't Kelly gorgeous?!

As some of you already know, I got the sad news last week that Violet, clothing designer of Kung Fu Bambini, will be shutting its doors until further notice.  Unfortunately, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, which goes into effect Feb. 10, is requiring all children's clothing and toys to be tested for lead.  This is a very high expense for small business owners.  So, until futher notice, all the modeling shoots for Violet have been placed on hold.  Hopefully we will be able do them soon

Thank you to everyone who responded about the shoots and wanted to participate.  I would still love the opportunity to work with you, so if you are interested in doing a portrait session with the studio, let me know and you will get a 15% discount off your session fee ($22.50 value).  You are eligible for this if you sent me a return email regarding the model shoots (email me if you aren't sure, I have the name list).  I hope to be able to work with some of you soon!

This little boy was one of the happiest babies I have ever photographed!  He was just so content no matter what weird position we had him in.  Anyway, thank you to his mother Audrey for the opportunity to capture his great personality!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  This weekend was very busy with many shoots!  These are a few I did today with my good friend Lisa's daughter, Charlotte.  She was just so sweet and fun to photograph!  I will try to post a bunch more of what I have been doing soon.  Also, keep your eyes out for the upcoming Valentine's Day special!

We are very excited for a new year, there is going to be a lot going on at the studio this year, so please stay tuned into the blog to check for updates! 

The most current thing is that we are working with an amazing Portland children's clothing designer, Violet of Kung Fu Bambini! She has an adorable shop in Northeast called Violet.  Anyway, we are going to be doing some work together with her new clothing designs. 

That's where you come in…..we are looking for models to use in the shoots of the clothing.  What we need will change with each project, but if you are interested in having your child/children participate, please let us know so that we can contact you!  We are mostly looking for children between the ages of 1 and 6. 

In return you will receive online viewing of your child's images, one free 5×7 gift print of your favorite image, the option to purchase additional prints, and best of all, you get to keep the outfit used in the shoot! 

So if you would like to be on the list of models for these projects, please email or call me as soon as you can!  I think the next shoot we are doing we are looking for 2 boys and 1-2 girls, ages 1-4.  This will be done sometime in January, for a lounge/pajama set.  I am very excited for this project and to get to work with some of you again!
