A few months back I got to meet Hannah, the owner of Go Belly Go.  She makes these really cool maternity necklaces that show the month your baby is due.  They are really cute and make GREAT gifts!  Anyway, we got to talking and I ended up doing some product shots for her of the jewelry.  You can check out her product online at www.gobellygo.com  and if you or anyone you know is expecting, you will love these!  My close friend Nadine was the model for the necklaces, and she is expecting her first baby girl in just two months.

Also, thank you to everyone who responded to the “Shoot at the Nines Hotel”.  We are fully booked up for the whole weekend, and I am getting REALLY excited for these sessions!  I am considering offering these hotel sessions every couple months, but am not sure of the interest.  So, if this is something you and/or your friends would be interested in please let me know!

So about two weeks ago I posted a note about looking for a 2-3 year old girl model for some concept shoots.  The first one to respond was little Sophia's mom.  We met a few days later in this random field of trees for some fun shots.  Anyway, here's what we got

I took the two little ones I watch to Cook Park today.  It was a little chilly, but it was so sunny!  Anyway, here are a few snapshots I took of them while we were there!

As you can tell from my website and blog, I love photographing kids.  But I also love photographing other subjects too.  I have, on occasion, had the opportunity to do some boudoir sessions (for women to give to their husband or husband-to-be) and really enjoy them!  I love capturing beautiful images of women, in a tasteful style.  Anyway, one of my long time friends is getting married in May and we will be doing her boudoir session at the end of this month.  I am excited for this because we are going to do the shoot in one of the gorgeous suites at the Hotel DeLuxe.  So I figure, why not get as much use out of it as possible?  If you are interested in getting your own boudoir, bridal portrait, child, baby, or maternity session done and want to take advantage of this great location let me know!  The date is February 28th.  There are only a limited number of sessions available for this day so if you would like to schedule your session please let me know as soon as possible!

So its my goal this year to take some serious time for concept shoots.  I have a lot of ideas/themes/outfits that I want to try out in some shoots.  The whole goal in this is just have some fun and get creative!  Anyway, the weather this Wednesday is supposed to be pretty nice and a little WARMER (which is wonderful!  But hey, we are talking only a few degrees warmer!) So I am hoping that one of you blog readers out there has a child I can use for a shoot on Wednesday. 

I would like 1 or 2 girls that are ages 2 1/2 or 3.  This will be on Wednesday afternoon, around 4pm (for about an hour) in the Tigard area.  Please email me or comment on this post if you are interested.  The shoot, of course, is free.  You will have the option to purchase any images if you would like
