This is one of the urban sessions that was done last weekend at the Aveda Institute warehouse. All of these girls are beautiful, and baby “A” is one of the happiest babies I have ever met! She did awesome at her first big photo shoot!

“B” is one of the cutest little 2 year olds! She was such a trooper changing clothes a lot and just playin in the living room even though she was a little under the weather. She has beautiful big bold eyes though and was a joy to photograph. Thanks B for putting up with me

R and J came down from Hood River for their session on a beautifully sunny day a few weeks back. They won a package from the studio at an auction for Village Home in Beaverton. I was honored to take their photos because they only have a few portraits of the two of them! We did this session downtown in the Pearl district.

So I have to apologize that it has taken me so long to get these images posted. This shoot was so much fun, Meysha has been a friend and client now for over a year and every shoot we do together is a blast! Her second baby is due here in just a few weeks, and I am stoked to do the newborn shots as soon as they welcome their new girl into the world. Anyway, here are some shots from the maternity session, and again I am sorry they are so late Meysha!

I know it seems like there is a lot of time, but Mother’s Day is approaching very quickly! We are doing some awesome specials for Mother’s Day this year, so if you want a gift for yourself or for grandma, check these out! Your session has to be booked before May 10th, but can occur between now and July 1st. Please email or call the studio to schedule your Mother’s Day session! Also, if you have already done your session with us recently, order Mother’s Day gifts by April 21st to guarantee delivery in time for the holiday!

This little girl was such a sweetheart. She has the biggest blue eyes I think I have ever seen, and had such a sweet nature about her. And I love the pudginess! I just can’t get enough of it
Anyway, here are a few from her session.

This family had a unique session. We started off the afternoon (on the warmest day of the week
), by doing some “couple” shots these two in their wedding attire. The beautiful bouquet was provided courtesy of Lisa Swartout at Bella Bloom Florals. We walked all over the Pearl district and got some great shots. Then, because Grandma and Grandpa were in town visiting, we finished the session with some pictures of the whole family and their adorable baby girl Tahlia. She was such a cutie! These ones we did down by the waterfront in downtown Portland. Anyway, the whole shoot was great and we couldn’t have asked for a sunnier day! I hope you enjoy these….

I hope everyone had a good Easter! This last week was a really crazy busy week, with lots of shoots that I will soon be posting sneak peeks of! Here is the first one, a maternity shoot in the cherry trees. There will be more to come from the other shoots as well!

I have the following times left for the Urban Sessions on April 18th:
3pm, 4:15pm, 5:30pm
If you would like to schedule one of these open times please email or call the studio as soon as you can. The May 30th sessions are fully booked.
So I have to admit that it being my first day back in the states it is pretty nice outside
I LOVE this warm weather, and that all the cherry trees are in full bloom! This is by far my favorite time of the year, and I LOVE to shoot in the cherry trees! Soooooo, I was hoping to find a willing child model to do a concept shoot for me. I have the outfit and the location (a line of about 30 cherry trees in full bloom! in Sherwood), and I just need a 4-5 year girl model. Anyone up for doing an impromptu shoot Tuesday or Thursday of this week please email or call me asap! Session is free, you are open to buy your own prints.
Also, I was going through my phone messages today and there was a message from an Emily Klinger (?not sure on the last name) about doing children’s portraits. There was no phone number or email left on the message though, so I have no way to contact you Emily. If you are reading this post, please email or give me a call again and I would love to chat with you about portraits! If you think you know this Emily, please kindly pass the message along.
I hope you all get outside today and enjoy the sunshine!
