I was so excited when I got an email from mom Kim a few months ago that she would be expecting her second baby Tabor.  I worked with Kim and her family last summer when we did portraits of her daughter Lily.  We had a great time at Lewis and Clark College last year, and so I couldn’t wait to see Lily again and meet the newest addition to the family.  Baby Tabor was just a few weeks old when these were taken at their home recently.

This little guy was such a breeze to photograph.  I was a little worried with him being older than most newborns (about 3 1/2 weeks old) that we would have a hard time getting him to sleep deep enough, but there were no problems!  He was out, and really let us get some great photographs.  One funny thing about his session though, he would fall asleep and stick his tongue out the whole time!  I tried numerous times to get that tongue back in his mouth, but he just refused!  Oh well, someday he will laugh when we sees these photos!

I first met Scott when he played music for our studio open house back in April.  Not only was he so incredibly nice and great to work with, but his music made for the perfect backdrop for the studio event.  We decided to do family portraits this summer at the beautiful Jenkins Estate in Beaverton.  His kids were so loving and fun to work with.  I think my favorites are the ones with their little guy climbing the tree, we could not get him down from it!  I hope you enjoy, also we are trying out a new idea here at the blog.  If the Head family gets 20 people to leave a comment on their session below, they will get a free set of wallets from their session!  So share some love for them and leave your thoughts below!

I was so excited when I found out that my cousin Cordell and his wife Alla were expecting their first baby.  As a photographer, they have been so great to photograph because they literally just let me do whatever I want :)   They are so trusting and it makes for great photo shoots!  Well, baby Lincoln decided to come a little early so Kirk and I drove up to their home in Kennewick, WA to photograph him at just 3 days old.  He is so tiny and precious, if you can’t tell from the images.  I can already see the Crouse side of the family in him :)   I can’t wait to take more pictures of him as he grows up, but here are some of the images from his very first photo shoot!

Congrats you guys, I am so happy for you!

Here are just a few from a recent session with this little girl and her new baby sister….I photographed Taylor when she was 3 months old and now she is 4!  Crazy to see how much she has grown.  And seriously, those eyes!  It was great to see the family again and capture the newest addition to their family.  It was one of the first really hot days of the summer, so after shooting some in the studio we headed down to the South Waterfront park to cool off in their small fountain.
