The busy fall season is definitely upon us.  It’s hard to believe that we are already 7 days in September, and that for most of you today was the first day of school for your little ones.  While all of you were enjoying your extra day off for Labor Day I was spending the weekend with many families  around Portland.  My first one on Monday morning came with a nice surprise.  I have been photographing this family since their oldest, Taylor, was about 4 months old.  She’s six now.  Not only have they been one of my oldest clients, but I have known them even longer as friends.  I first met Mom Kara and Dad Stacey when they became my youth group pastors in high school.  They have been great leaders and mentors to me over the years.  Their first child Taylor was a flower girl in my wedding, and I feel blessed to take their family portraits since they started their family 6 years ago.  This week’s session was no different, a ton of fun with style and class.  Kara is so creative and has such a fun sense of style that I am always excited for their next session   This time they arrived with this ring as a gift for me.  I think its adorable, thanks for thinking of me
